Simulacra - Andy Warhol Exhibition
The term “Simulacra” stands for an image or representation of someone or something that has lost their original connection to reality. This reflections Andy Warhol’s views on consumerism and individuality. The Exhibition highlights his Athlete’s Series, a branch of his Celebrity Series. Within this work, Warhol uses repetition of fame to display how a figure eventually loses their original persona to the public eye.
